The composition 100 Seconds of Pi was recently featured on NPR's "Engines of Our Ingenuity" from the University of Houston, Episode 3030.  It's a surprising composition generated from the digits of the numerical constant pi.

"Log-a-Rhythmic" will be released later this year on the Garden Gate Records LP compilation "Non-Pythagorean Spaces Vol. 1," featuring compositions based on the logarithmic scale invented by Robert Schneider of The Apples in Stereo.

The fun, off-beat jazz tune "Part Three" appears in a promotional spot for the eclectic internet radio station Radio Feebs. Radio Feebs currently features 8 compositions by Harlan.



The instrumental version of "Secret Song" appeared in the Kickstarter video for the Druid Hill Park Passport project, a Green Map initiative in Baltimore, MD.




H Music has just signed a publishing agreement for Harlan's classic disco dance tune "All the Way."




Jazz singer Barbara Crow will be recording "Wanderlust," the Brazilian influenced song for travelers, for her upcoming album.




The fractal compositon "Brecker 8" is now featured on IBM's website. The music by Harlan Brothers and accompanying video by Teja Krasek appears as selection number 6 in the section entitled "Fractals in Culture and Society."

This video was also featured at the Bridges 2011 Short Film Festival in Coimbra, Portugal.
